Essaouira or Old Mogador , is the late seventeenth century exceptional example of a fortified town, at that era, built on the principles of European military architecture.

Essaouira is a small coastal town, a beautiful Medina (old city) an important heritage of humanity by UNESCO, the Medina is surrounded by walls that protect it from the wind and the sea.

Departure at 07h morning from your hotel (if you were at Agadir city), heading north towards Essaouira, about 173 km from Agadir, almost 3 hour by car.

The routes between Essaouira and Agadir are a coastal path with a view of the Atlantic, you may take photos on this beautiful route:

1: After 60 km from Agadir a great panoramic view of ocean

2: A visit to the market of Tamanar village and and take a break for coffee.


Once in Essaouira, take a guided tour to the medina (old town) to discover the hidden places of the city over the Scala Portuguese guns, small alley and a lively fishing port where you can observe many boats all organized and painted in blue...etc

After the lunch, take you time to fully enjoy the beauty of this beautiful son beaten city.

The return around 17h by the same route, or you may want to visit Marrakech
